The Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) is an advocacy association representing biotechnology companies, academic and research institutions, state biotechnology centers and related organizations across the United States and in more than 30 other nations. Its members are involved in researching and developing healthcare and industrial biotechnology products, from entrepreneurial companies developing a first product to Fortune 500 multinationals. BIO advocates for science-based policies and market-based incentives, produces the BIO International Convention and investor and partnering meetings, runs the BIO One-on-One Partnering system, and offers the BIO Business Solutions cost-savings program.
