The National Bison Association (NBA), formed in 1995 through the merger of the American Bison Association and the National Buffalo Association, is a not-for-profit trade association of producers, processors, marketers, and bison enthusiasts. It brings together stakeholders to celebrate the heritage of American bison, educate the public, and support a sustainable future for the bison industry. Members abide by the NBA Code of Ethics, which promotes the humane and sustainable raising of American bison, and the association also raises funds through its Growth Fund to support consumer outreach and industry promotion.
